How to set up an AI morning briefing in 10 minutes

Every morning you probably check the same four or five places before deciding what to work on. Your calendar, your email, your task list, maybe your CRM pipeline. An AI morning briefing does all of that for you and surfaces only what matters.

Here's how to set one up in Cosius.

Step 1: Connect your tools

Go to Settings → Integrations. Connect the tools you check each morning — at minimum, Gmail and Google Calendar. If you track work in Linear or Jira, add those too. HubSpot or Salesforce if you're tracking deals.

Each integration takes about 30 seconds via OAuth.

Step 2: Add your context

Go to Knowledge and add a few bullets about your role and priorities. Something like: "I'm the CEO of a 12-person B2B SaaS company. My top priorities are customer retention and new enterprise deals. I don't need to know about internal Slack messages or calendar invites from the recruiting team."

This context gets injected into every session, so your agent knows what to highlight.

Step 3: Create the workflow

Go to Workflows → New workflow. Choose "Scheduled" trigger. Set the cron to "0 7 * * 1-5" (weekdays at 7am).

For the task prompt, write something like: "Check my Gmail for urgent emails from customers or investors. Check my calendar for today and tomorrow. Check for any overdue Linear issues assigned to me. Write a plain-English briefing with: (1) anything urgent that needs a response today, (2) my schedule, (3) any open items I should close before end of day."

Set your token budget to 20,000 and save.

Step 4: Run it manually first

Hit "Run now" to test before the schedule kicks in. The first run takes a minute while the agent reads your data. Review the output — if it's missing something or including noise you don't care about, update the task prompt and run again.

After one or two iterations, you'll have a briefing that's genuinely useful. From there, you just wake up and read it.
